My socio-cultural revival strategy is two-fold: firstly to revive the Bakweri Mbando cultural festival in the form of an organization that shall convene yearly to provide the impetus for unified action in promoting the Bakweri culture and secondly, to build a sprawling Fako Multipurpose Cultural Center, to serve the Mbando ideals and prerogatives in a proactive and timely manner. The Multipurpose Cultural Center shall be built in Buea with satellite offices in other strategic localities in Fako. All Fako Chiefs and people, Bakweri cultural groups including those in the Diaspora and Bakweri civil society associations shall be mobilized to belong to the Hvako Cultural Revival and Development Organization, hereafter simply referred to as "the Mbando".
To confer on the Mbando the much-needed dynamics for its effective implementation and sustainability, a Mbando Trust Fund shall be created to be held in Trust and managed with the support of a Board of Trustees for the realization of Mbando activities and projects. All Fako indigenes are expected to and are invited to contribute to the Mbando Trust Fund every year and to make it a point of attending the Mbando yearly conventions and related cultural activities. The traditional phase of the Mbando shall be owned and managed by all Fako chiefs under the leadership of the Paramount Chiefs of Buea and Limbe.
The Fako Multipurpose Cultural Center as the major vehicle in promoting the Mbando shall aim at harnessing and consolidating our cultural heritage in dance, music, and art, to project our Fako heroes, and heroines, and to support our youth in acquiring livelihood skills including in communication, language, and other technology.
